In your quest for PLR articles, you will undoubtedly come across a lot of PLR sites. What you are going to discover is that there are more than one type of PLR sites.
- PLR sites that sell packs or bundles of PLR articles (let’s call these “PLR packs sites”)
- PLR sites that offer subscription or memberships (let’s call these “PLR membership sites”)
Which one is right for you?
Here are a few points that may help you decide:
PLR membership sites end up costing you more
On the other hand, the advantage of PLR packs sites is that you don’t need to keep paying money month after month. You just arrive at the site, buy the good stuff, and take off. You pay ONCE, not again and again.
PLR membership sites make you wait for the exact content you need
… sometimes indefinitely!
Come to think of it, you are not the only customer a PLR membership site has. To stay competitive, a PLR membership site must keep creating content for a variety of niches every month. But what if your niche never gets its turn? Or has to wait a long time for its turn?
And don’t forget that you are paying good money each month to get the privilege to wait for the content you need.
A PLR packs site on the other hand, can give you content for the exact topic you need, the moment you need it. If not, you can just move on to some other site.
PLR membership sites don’t give you enough content in any given niche
How many articles do you think a PLR membership site gives you each month, in any given niche?
First of all, if and when the turn of a niche comes, it gets a very limited number of articles – say 10 or 20. That’s not enough to create a full site, though it may help to add a few articles here and there.
Both types of sites need you to rewrite the content, for best effects
But you need to pay more for membership sites. Go figure.
The thing is, PLR articles are best used as idea joggers, or skeletons for other articles. (Other uses of PLR articles)
So when you need to spend time working on every PLR article, no matter what the source, why pay more? I realize the quality of the original article affects how much time you need to spend on it, but remember that membership sites require you to pay month after month.
PLR membership sites have their advantages too
To be fair, there are situations where you may consider joining a PLR membership site as well. For example, if you have sites in a variety of niches, you may find that the articles from your PLR membership site are all useful to you, for one site or the other.
Also, because PLR memberships cost you more, typically the quality of articles is higher. And since the number of membership spots are limited, the chances of other people using the same number of articles gets greatly reduced.
Hopefully this post has given you a few ideas to consider. In my opinion, both PLR membership sites as well as PLR packs sites have their own merits and demerits. Which one you choose depends on your exact situation.
By the way, this site is a PLR packs site. Just sayin’!

I prefer to buy in articles that are in my niche, that haven’t been recycled to everyone over and over. I just bought a pack that ended up being almost all the same articles I already had. Bummer.
@Marilyn: You bring up one major drawback of PLR sites, especially PLR packs sites. What you can do to guard against this is only buy from sites that have a money back guarantee. That way, you can at least get your money back and not end up paying twice for the same articles.

I have never paid to belong to a PLR membership site. I normally just sign up for free. I don’t have money to become a member. I do try and make the PLR articles I get to be unique by changing this or that.
Depending on your niche you may want to pay if you find 25 articles on a particular subject as other buyers will probably never compete with you anyway
Hi,
I use plr articles to build a website.I rewrite each article as there are thousands of copies floating around.Nearly all my pages are at the top of Google search results.I have belonged to a plr site that i paid monthly, but got poor articles not in my niche.I like to find articles and just buy the ones i want.
I’m just starting this adventure in internet marketing and am using PLR packs as the kernel to my articles.
When I say “just started”, I really mean it. I posted my first rewritten PLR article yesterday.
Rohit, I really appreciate what I’m learning from this site. Thanks.
YOUR REVIEWS IS EXCELLENT ITS SURELY GOING TO HELP ME SET UP MY INFO PRODUCT SELLING SITE SONNEST.
THANKS
There are drawbacks to every type of PLR released, but the best thing to do is focus on PLR content, releases and membership sites where they limit the number of active members or buyers. That way, you can still benefit from the affordability of PLR without it being saturated and its value lost along the way.

Hi Rohit,
Thanks for this information.PLR is good, but lot of internet marketers are selling old PLR.To get success online,we need freesh PLR.
THANKS.
Hi Rohit,
I prefer the PLR site that sell bundles because I don’t have money to pay a membership site month after month.
Hi everyone,
This article was very good. I think that when your starting out the bundle sites are the way to go. Once you have monthly revenue and you begin to move into multiple niches you may want to consider a membership site. This would give you access to multiple niche articles every moth to keep up your marketing. I really like the tip about the guarantee from the package site. I will have to keep that in mind.

I agree that the bundles are better, you can at least choose but hadn’t thought about the money back guarantee angle, good advice thank you.
I think all PLR is great. I don’t think it gets saturated as fast as people think here’s why:
1. Most members in a membership are in their own niche, just because they have access to a product doesn’t mean they will use it.
2. People in the niche that download the PLR doesn’t mean it will be used.. It’s human nature to be lazy..
3. PLR can easily be reworked into an entirely new product.
PLR Bundles are great – if you are in the first 100 getting hold of them. If you get them later, then they have been resold, given away, passed on etc etc and have just about lost their worth. That is unless you have a very good article spinner. Then it doesn’t matter where you get the articles from as long as you put in the work to actually change them. many thanks…
Thank you Rohit for this great post!
I think the best way is to buy only the PLR content you really need otherwise you will have to pay a lot of money for the PlR membership sites getting a lot of PLR content you don’t need. Or you choose to sign up for a PLR membership site with a free option.
I think that packages is more preferable to me than membership..
thanks..
